Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using QuickKit Tools. Please read them. By using the site, you agree to them.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the QuickKit Tools website and its tools (the “service”), which are provided by QuickKit Tools (“we”, “us”). If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

2. The service

The tools are free to use, for personal or work purposes, without an account. We may change, improve, pause or remove any tool or part of the site at any time, and we don't guarantee the service will always be available.

3. Your files and content

  • The files and text you use with our tools stay yours. We don't claim any ownership of them or of the results you create, such as compressed images, QR codes or merged PDFs.
  • Our tools run in your browser, so your files aren't uploaded to us. Our tools create new copies and don't change your original files, but we still recommend keeping backups of anything important.
  • You are responsible for having the right to use the files you process, and for how you use the results.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for anything illegal, or to infringe anyone else's rights;
  • create QR codes or other content that point people to scams, phishing pages, malware or other harmful material;
  • try to disrupt, overload, damage or gain unauthorized access to the site, for example through attacks or automated requests that degrade the service for others;
  • copy, resell or republish the site's design, text or code, except as allowed by law.

5. Results and accuracy

We work hard to make our tools accurate, but we can't guarantee every result is correct or suitable for your purpose. Results are provided for general information only and are not professional advice. Please check important results, for example ages for legal documents, percentages for financial decisions, or unit conversions for medical, engineering or safety purposes, with an appropriate official source or professional.

6. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

8. Third-party content and software

The site may link to other websites. We aren't responsible for their content, and a link isn't an endorsement. Some tools use open-source software, such as node-qrcode and pdf-lib, which are provided under their own licenses.

9. Our content

The QuickKit Tools name, logo, design and written content belong to us. You're welcome to link to any page of the site.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer protections that the laws of your country give you.
